Appropriately, as reported in this article, Democratic Senator Chris Van Hollen has publicly said that "it is absolutely wrong to interfere in a judicial matter by threatening judicial officers, their family members and their employees with retribution. This thuggery is something befitting the mafia, not U.S. senators."
NOTE: There is one technical error in this article. It states that the "Palestinian territories" were admitted as a member state of the ICC in 2015. Obviously, only states can be member states of the ICC, and it was the State of Palestine which was admitted as a member state, thereby conferring jurisdiction for the ICC over war crimes committed on the territory of the State of Palestine.
